I4C Announces Inaugural Bhutan Summit for November 2026
A rare, invitation-only gathering bringing together investors, family offices and global leaders around capital, sustainability and purpose in one of the world’s most visionary nations
SINGAPORE / NEW YORK - 2026 - Investors for Climate is delighted to announce its inaugural Bhutan Summit, a highly curated, invitation-only gathering taking place in November 2026.
Set against the extraordinary backdrop of the Himalayas, the summit will bring together a select group of investors, family offices, entrepreneurs and global leaders for an immersive experience exploring the future of capital, sustainability and purposeful leadership.
The summit will be co-hosted by Investors for Climate and Jennifer Richardson, a U.S.-based partner deeply connected to family offices and investor networks across the United States. Together, the hosts are curating an intimate and intentional group of participants who share a commitment to deploying capital in ways that support both human flourishing and planetary resilience.
BHUTAN A POWERFUL SETTING
Long recognised for its philosophy of Gross National Happiness and its commitment to environmental stewardship, the country has become a global reference point for a different model of development - one that places wellbeing, nature and long-term prosperity at the centre of national progress.
At a time when investors are seeking more meaningful ways to align wealth, impact and legacy, Bhutan provides a rare lens into what the future of sustainable development could look like.
A summit at the intersection of capital, sustainability and purpose
The Investors for Climate Bhutan Summit has been designed as a unique, immersive experience for a small group of aligned participants.
The journey will begin with a gathering in Bangkok, before the group travels together to Paro International Airport in Bhutan. From there, participants will enter one of the world’s most culturally rich and environmentally protected countries for a program designed to foster deep connection, learning and strategic dialogue.
THE PROGRAM IS EXPECTED TO INCLUDE:
A visit to Bhutan’s landmark sustainable city initiative, Gelephu Mindfulness City
Private dialogues on sustainable development, climate investment, nature, infrastructure and long-term capital
Curated cultural and leadership experiences in Bhutan
High-level meetings and conversations with national leaders and influential stakeholders, subject to confirmation
Potential engagements with members of the royal family and senior national figures, subject to availability and protocol
Time for reflection, relationship-building and meaningful exchange among a carefully selected group of participants
The experience is being organised in partnership with a trusted operator, Abroad, that curates high-level programs for the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) globally.
BHUTAN’S BOLD VISION FOR THE FUTURE
One of the focal points of the summit will be Bhutan’s emerging sustainable development agenda, including Gelephu Mindfulness City, a major national initiative envisioned by His Majesty The King.
Gelephu Mindfulness City represents an ambitious new model of development rooted in Bhutanese values, harmony with nature, innovation and economic opportunity. It aims to offer the world a different path - one that integrates economic progress with environmental balance, cultural integrity and human wellbeing.
For investors, family offices and leaders seeking to understand the next frontier of sustainable development, Bhutan offers an extraordinary case study: a country exploring how capital, infrastructure, governance, culture and nature can be brought together in service of a more resilient future.
A RARE OPPORTUNITY FOR INTIMATE DIALOGUE
Unlike large conferences or traditional investor forums, the Bhutan Summit is intentionally small and highly curated.
The purpose is not simply to convene, but to create the conditions for meaningful conversation, trusted relationships and long-term collaboration.
“Bhutan represents something profoundly important for this moment,” said Helena Wasserman, Co-Founder of Investors for Climate. “As the world grapples with climate change, rising inequality and a crisis of trust in institutions, Bhutan offers a different imagination of progress - one rooted in wellbeing, nature, resilience and long-term thinking. We are honoured to bring together a small group of investors and leaders to learn from this extraordinary country and explore how capital can become a force for regeneration.”

Participation in the Investors for Climate Bhutan Summit is by invitation only.
